L’art de la transmission

Je ne pense pas m’être posée la question avant d’être malade. Ou peut-être est-ce inné quand on devient parent? Que vais-je bien « léguer » à mes enfants? Quel est le plus important que je veuille leur transmettre si mon départ est imminent? Et comment faire pour leur faire passer un message afin que ma progéniture se souvienne au travers de beaux et doux moments, de ces instants partagés et qu’elle puisse en extraire le meilleur.

La définition du « bon parent »

Soyez sans crainte! Je ne me considère aucunement comme un « bon parent » car, heureusement, il n’y en a pas! Mes filles me reprocheront bien évidemment quelque chose sinon ce ne serait pas drôle. Mais la définition primaire qui m’habite, pour être un « bon parent », c’est de donner des racines et des ailes à son enfant.

Des racines

J’ai souhaité transmettre à mes enfants, outre les valeurs qui nous étaient chères comme le respect de soi, le respect d’autrui, le respect de la planète, (entre autre, ce n’est pas non plus une liste exhaustive des valeurs que nous avons souhaité leur inculquer!), ou des recettes qui leur remémoreraient de tendres souvenirs (gourmande un jour, gourmande toujours!) des images à elles! Elles, ailes, vous voyez où je veux en venir maintenant?? Bon, j’avoue que je viens moi-même de le voir en l’écrivant!… L’idée étant que les racines soient forgées par le tronc parental mais que les ailes se déploient par nos enfants grâce à ce qu’on leur apprend…

N’étant pas une grande sportive et n’ayant pas une grande culture du jeu à la base, j’ai donc laissé cela de côté préférant nettement le côté « artistique »… Que je m’explique avant de froisser les plus réticents et les plus sceptiques.

Nicos Hadjinicolaou (extrait de Histoire et Critique des Arts) définit ceci: « Une oeuvre d’art existe en tant que telle à partir du moment où elle est regardée ». Je suis donc partie du principe qu’il y avait tellement d’oeuvres autour de nous qu’il était facile de pouvoir se les « approprier », d’en apprécier plus que d’autres et de pouvoir se remémorer des souvenirs en fonction de certaines personnes. Alors quand je parle d’oeuvre d’art, je parle de tout art en général; que ce soit photographie, peinture, architecture, bande dessinée, cinéma, manga, etc…

Je dis bien tout. Parce que tous ces arts te rappelle un bon souvenir, que ce soit une réflexion que tu as eu en voulant découvrir un livre, que ce soit l’émerveillement que tu as eu en effleurant une sculpture, que ce soit l’émotion ressentie en écoutant un morceau de musique, que ce soit l’interrogation subie en regardant une toile de peinture, etc…

Dès que nous le pouvons, nous nous efforçons, et pour notre plus grand plaisir d’ailleurs, de partager des instants de découverte où, à notre niveau, nous tâchons de transmettre la manière d’admirer l’art sous toutes ses formes. Et de mettre de l’art dans notre vie afin d’en faire un art! Parce que c’est ainsi que la transmission se passe: par l’amour des choses et l’amour des personnes.

Je me dis que c’est un outil bien utile pour la suite. Peut-être que qd on a confiance en soi, on fait confiance au monde?
